There are ten new official cases of Covid-19 virus positive in Kenya, 50 days after the announcement of the first infected in Kenya. Cases that brought the total to 384 with 129 people discharged after the final two swabs were negative. The cured patients of Wednesday, April 29th are five. Nine of the new recorded cases come from Mombasa and one from Nairobi County,

The announcement came from the Director General of Health of Kenya, Mercy Mwangangi, who added that in the last 24 hours 508 swabs have been carried out (almost 300 from Nairobi and just under one hundred from Mombasa, and the others from other counties of the country), reiterating that soon the Ministry will be able to guarantee rapid and greater quantities of swabs.
Mwangangi asked citizens not to exclude and avoid patients cured of the virus, but to welcome them back into the community, after news of stigmatization.
