In Kilifi County the most peaceful Odinga fans

The North Coast respected the no-protest call of their leader more than in other Kenya regions

The North Coast of Kenya once again confirms itself as one of the most peaceful and peaceful places in the whole country.
Even during this new round of elections, after the joyful calm of 8 August, the population behaved exemplaryly.
In the districts of North Kilifi (where Watamu is included), Malindi and Magarini (Mambrui) no street protests were detected, not even small groups of young people exalted, unlike other areas of the country where, although without serious accidents except for Lake Victoria, there have been protests, grievances and attempts to sabotage the polling stations more or less successful.
In Malindi and the surrounding area, the local population fond of Raila Odinga, followed the dictates of the leader of the Opposition, who had invited his electorate, on the eve of voting, to stay at home and not approach the polling stations, and to maintain a peaceful attitude.
That was the case: no provocation, no attempt to block seats and no attempt to engage in clashes with the police.
That the roundup is one of Kenya's most welcoming, gentle and sunny tribes is no mystery.
This time they have also shown great maturity.
