Covid-19 certificate not older than 96hrs mandatory

A short while ago, Kenya's Minister of Transport confirmed that Kenya will reopen its airports to international traffic on Saturday, August 1 and announced a list of countries from which flights and their passengers may come. Among these there are not yet the countries of the European Union, waiting to know tomorrow the position of Europe and also Italy regarding the travels of its tourists in the African continent. The openness, however, with regard to Kenya is confirmed by the fact that Switzerland, which has never been precluded, is among the "welcome" countries in Kenya with the reopening.
Among the other nations there is also China, with Japan and South Korea, as well as African countries, there are Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, Morocco and Namibia and for America there is Canada but not yet the United States.
Neighbouring Tanzania, on the other hand, has long since given up providing the World Health Organization with data on its coronavirus infections.
The Minister of Transport James Macharia explained in a press conference that countries that have registered a decline in the number of cases of Covid-19 have been admitted "by default" but that gradually all other countries will be admitted, except those at high risk of infection.
As for the rules, there will be no quarantine for those who will enter with a Covid-19 Free PCR certificate issued no more than 96 hours before departure by the authorities of the country of origin.
"All arriving passengers with a negative result of Covid-19 based on PCR, whose temperature does not exceed 37 degrees Celsius and who do not have breathing difficulties, repeated coughing and have demonstrated to have been tested 96 hours before the trip will be exempted from quarantine," said Macharia directly.
Macharia also announced that passengers arriving after curfew with a valid passport and boarding pass will be allowed to travel to their hotels or residential locations, but their drivers must be able to prove that they are allowed to enter the airport.
The Minister finally confirmed that there will be no repentance, because the protocol has been approved by both President Kenyatta and Health Minister Kagwe.
