Only a few days to go before the start of the second edition of the Malindi 4x4 Raid, the engaging competitive "expedition" of off-road, quad and motorcycle along the dirt roads and through the fantastic scenery of the Malindi hinterland organized by the Malindi Motor Club.
The closer you get to the fateful date of Sunday, January 5, the more details of the event are outlined, which represents an absolute novelty for Kenya as it is dedicated to simple off-road enthusiasts with production cars and not to professionals.
The lengthening of the route compared to the previous year has determined an important commitment on the part of the Malindi Motor Club in the search for new routes that were challenging for competitors but also interesting for tourists.
Malindi Raid 4x4 is engaging more than 40 people who will work at the start, along the route and at the finish, many of whom have followed a course to learn the use of chronometers and precision instruments that will determine the final ranking. Lunch at Marafa will also be attended by local workers who will provide participants with traditional Swahili food.
Important and significant is the commitment made by some local companies that are helping the growth of the event that must become an annual event to identify Malindi with this passion and with beautiful initiatives of this kind: from Kola Beach Reaort to Bar Bar, from Polaris to Villa Malindi, from Peroni Group to Villa Waridi, from The Lawford Hotel to Baby Marrow Restaurant, from Olimpia Club to Milano Motors Group that will take care of the technical assistance along the route, from Tagliati e Colorati and Karibuni, ending with Shala Heart. All together with the unique goal of bringing news and new interest to Malindi.
