Etihad restores daily routes with Nairobi

Good prices from Italy for the low season months

01-05-2024 by Freddie del Curatolo

Good news and an extra opportunity for those who have decided or will decide at the last minute to take a 'getaway' to Kenya during the off-season. The Abu Dhabi airline Ethiad has resumed daily flights from Emirates to the capital Nairobi and for the first few months has launched special fares for connections with Europe. For €580 at this time you can travel from Nairobi to Milan or Rome, with the comfort of one of the best international airlines and a good connection on the outward journey (the return journey is a little longer).
Etihad will operate daily flights to Nairobi, using a modern Airbus A320, with Business and Economy cabins.

Obviously, in addition to the possibility for Italians and Europeans to connect to Kenya, or at the very least to have an extra option, daily flights from Abu Dhabi and back can connect to dozens of other destinations, including the East as well as the US, and further promote the destination Africa.
The connection will thus further stimulate business opportunities between the UAE and the growing Kenyan economy.
‘We are thrilled to restart flights to Nairobi, a dynamic and exciting city in its own right and also the gateway to a safari in Kenya, a dream adventure for many travellers, offering a glimpse of Africa's diverse and magnificent wildlife,’ said Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer. Antonoaldo Neves. ‘Likewise, we look forward to welcoming guests from Kenya to our extraordinary home and offering them access to our growing global network,’ Neves added.

For East African travellers, the new route from Nairobi offers exciting opportunities to explore Abu Dhabi's cultural gems and enjoy its famous hospitality. From Sheikh Zayed's imposing Grand Mosque to the grandeur of the 'Louvre Abu Dhabi', the city offers an enchanting mix of modernity and tradition, all seasoned with the warmth of Emirati hospitality.
