An annual exhibition that never fails to amaze.
Not only for the beauty of its orchids, but for the passion of the members of the Kenya Orchid Society who display them and invent settings, sceneries and colour evocations to attract visitors and other enthusiasts like them.
This was the mood at the three-day Nairobi event dedicated to Kenya's most beautiful specimens of Dendrobium, Maxellaria, Cattleya, Anselia africana and other varieties of the internationally most loved and coveted flowers.
Many of these are not indigenous, but there are at least 263 indigenous species of orchids in Kenya.
