Safari in the city tomorrow in Milan with Balala

On a jeep in Piazza Castello to dream a holiday in Kenya

A new promotion of the wonders of Kenya in Italy.
From tomorrow to Tuesday 8 March, Milan will host the "Safari in the city" initiative, which will transform the Lombard capital into a virtual savannah.
Kenya's Minister of Tourism Najib Balala will inaugurate the event in the afternoon. In the very central Piazza Castello, a jeep will be set up as a "game drive", ready to welcome on board passers-by and the curious, as well as tour operators and journalists, for a tour of the wonders... of Kenya!
In fact, televisions have been installed on the off-road vehicles to show Kenya's great national parks and their fabulous animals, to give participants a virtual but very evocative experience.
On board an expert guide will tell the secrets and peculiarities of a unique holiday.
Those who take part in the days (to the initial two at Castello Sforzesco a new one has been added in Piazza Duca D'Aosta, i.e. outside the Central Station on Tuesday 8 March) will also be offered discounts on upcoming holidays in Kenya and other facilities.
This is the first of many initiatives to relaunch Italian tourism in Kenya prepared by the Kenya Tourist Board, which has recently appointed Jacinta Nzioka as its director. In fact, in the next few days the media campaign "Live Africa, discover Kenya" will start on Sky channels and in "The Space" cinema circuits. Malindikenya.net will be present at the event and will document it, as well as set up a series of meetings to strengthen the "network" of those who want to promote, even alongside the organizations that already do so successfully throughout Kenya, particularly Malindi, Watamu and Mambrui.
