Lost, the 'must go' place of the Malindi season

Lots of new features and the unmissable Saturday beach party

18-09-2025 by redazione

Less than a year after its opening, the Lost Beach Club in Malindi is already a landmark for Malindi, which has experienced a season of tourist revival and is preparing for an even more attractive one.
To make sure it is more than ready, Lost is kicking off the new season this weekend with lots of new features: a brand new menu, a manager with years of experience in the hospitality industry, and on Saturday, a beach party from sunset to late night with Malindi's legendary DJs, the timeless Dulla, Swaleh, and Ali Pappi. It starts at 5 p.m. with aperitifs by the pool and playlists by the legendary Ali Pappi and continues, for those who want, with dinner and then a night of music and dancing with DJ Dulla at the console, for an evening that promises to be unforgettable.
Admission to the elegant but informal beach club, where you can dance between the pool and the palm trees, is free for women and costs KES 500 for men. The Saturday beach party is set to become for Malindi what the historic Paparemo Beach event is for Watamu. The two clubs are not in competition with each other; on the contrary, they share the same vision.
From the outset, the “mission” has been clear: Lost promotes Malindi, Papa Remo promotes Watamu – working together to revitalize the coast and attract an international and diverse audience to both locations.
The Lost Beach Club is open all day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (except on Saturdays, of course, when it stays open until 3 a.m.) and offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine every day of the week, with a focus on fresh fish, international flavors, high-quality ingredients, and elegant presentation. The menu offers specialties such as seared tuna, octopus, and prawn provincial, as well as delicious salads, for a dining experience that perfectly matches the beach club atmosphere.
From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., happy hour with a wide selection of drinks and cocktails.
