Due to the heavy rains that have been raging since tonight on Malindi and the Kenyan coast, the programs of the Day of the Contemporary by the Embassy of Italy in Kenya and the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with the Progress Welfare Malindi Association have undergone a change. The work of the famous street artist Mattia Campo Dall'Orto, planned "open air" in the slum of Kisumundogo where yesterday was prepared the wall of a house ready to be painted with a theme related to the environment, will be prepared within the Municipality of Malindi and donated to the town that is doing so much recently for the protection of the environment, in particular with the movement Malindi Green And Blue that embraces institutions, tourism sector, private citizens and local associations.
For those who want to participate in the Italian donation, the appointment is set at 17.30 in the council hall of the City, in the presence of Town Manager Silas Ngundo, the chairman of PWAM Kate Mwikali and the leaders of the Department of Environment of the County of KIlifi.
