Kenyan Tusker beer is celebrating 100 years since its birth, and the two "singers" of Italians in Kenya Freddie and Sbringo celebrate East Africa's most famous hop and malt beverage in their own way, with a witty and ironic song that does not fail to associate the pleasure of drinking "baridi sana" (very cold) beer by the Indian Ocean and other dreamy places in Kenya, with the vicissitudes of our compatriots visiting this country.
The song, a pleasant reggae written a few years ago for one of the song-theater shows the duo has staged in Kenya and Italy, is part of the album titled "Once Upon a Time There Were Italians in Kenya," which will be on sale, physically in Kenya and online in Italy, starting next month. A Christmas strenna that brings together the best of their musical output over the past decade.
Here is a preview on Malindikenya.net of the video of "Baridi Sana." in italian.
The English version of the song with its video will also be published soon.
