From the shores of the Indian Ocean to the meeting of two seas, from Vasco Da Gama Point to the Strait of Gibraltar. On Thursday 11 February, the Baby Marrow Restaurant in Malindi will host an evening of Moroccan aromas and flavours, with original specialities cooked in the traditional way and an atmosphere reminiscent of the Riads of Casablanca and Marrakesh.
Under the Malindsian restaurant's large ficus tree, you'll be able to taste Maghreb delicacies such as Zaalouk (a spicy and delicately smoked aubergine salad), the famous sweet and sour chicken tajine, fish and shellfish tajine and an orange and cinnamon dessert. The tajine is the staple dish of North African Berber cuisine, a stewed meat or fish dish cooked in a special way and with a unique taste that is well worth trying.
