The classic Wednesday evening event in Malindi, in the renovated but still welcoming and charming setting of the Olimpia Club, adds a refreshing and even more seaside touch to the classic beach party: “Pwani Splash” (where Pwani in Swahili means “coast”), a dance party with the added bonus of a swimming pool for diving and water games to the rhythm of music. With the undoubted visual pleasure of young boys and girls in bikinis.
Admission is from 10 p.m., with tickets costing KES 500 for men and KES 200 for women. As always, trendy music is guaranteed by DJ Alipappi at the console. And don't forget to try the delicious doughnuts made by master pastry chef Enrico.
