In Malindi, Wednesday is always beach party night in the unique atmosphere of the Olimpia Club on Silversand Beach.
The classic event of recent years is back, continuing in the same vein but with young, proactive management, which could not fail to take up the legacy of the club's highlight of the evening, namely the exciting Wednesday night beach party, with DJ Alipappi at the console. He is joined by the up-and-coming DJ Keizushi from Watamu and the usual atmosphere of involvement and escapism, but also of safety and serenity, just a stone's throw from the Indian Ocean.
The enthusiasm and initiative of the new management adds some new features to the dance evening: admission is symbolic, only KES 100 for women and KES 300 for men, the party starts at 10 p.m. and goes on until 2 a.m., with reasonably priced cocktails and mojitos for only KES 500. Plus a sweet midnight treat of hot cream doughnuts (only KES 200). 
Wednesday is not the only regular event at what is increasingly becoming a landmark for the Malindi community and tourists: on Sundays, there is brunch with a large buffet. Two weekly events, different but complementary, to make you feel at home while enjoying the company of friends and new acquaintances in a welcoming place, in the picturesque setting of Casuarina Beach in Malindi.
