Paparemo Beach reopens and lights up Watamu

Many news, passion and positivity with nice food

04-08-2020 by redazione

It's like a thermometer from the good season in Watamu.
When it reopens after the rains (or sniffing his tail and the fresh air), it means that everything is about to return to normal.
And in this troubled period God knows how much we need it.
We are talking about Paparemo Beach, which reopened this week thanks to the passion and positivity of its owner Roberto Lenzi.
"From Nairobi tourists have arrived, international flights have restarted - explains Lenzi - Watamu needs one of its places of worship. It will certainly take some time to return to the amazing levels of last season, but we are ready to start again with the beach, our quality cuisine and, sooner or later, when the curfew will be lifted, the celebrated beach parties".
Meanwhile, Paparemo's staff (Lenzi is one of the Italian entrepreneurs who have tried to safeguard the jobs and salaries of its employees, with many sacrifices) has created a "social dist-dance" to welcome the guests who will gradually return.
The other novelty is represented by the fresh, competent and "social" presence of manager Cristina Mariani, trait-d'union between the Italian welcome and the Kenyan spirit, with her fluent Swahili and the experience of many years of Africa.
Because the desire for Kenya is great, Watamu is now the pearl of the Indian Ocean and on holiday (even without alcohol and without opening the restaurant in the evening, for now ...) the fun can not miss.
Not only Paparemo, Lenzi has also reopened one of its two resorts, Crystal Bay, with the offer of bed & breakfast and inviting prices of the rooms in a structure completely adapted to Covid-19.
