Let's go back 25 years ago, when he took over the Fermento and made it the true nighttime hangout for Italians on the coast, where there was always a reason to have a good time and pull the sunrise with the lightness and inclusiveness that have been lost today. His natural, never snobbish elegance and generosity cannot be forgotten.
