It was an exciting two days, not only because of the spectacle of thirty sportsmen who filled the sea and sky of Diani with their sails and evolutions on surfboards, but because of the whole international contour of pleasure, meeting, fun, and environmental protection that was created at The Sands at Nomad, the prestigious resort with the famous beach bar & restaurant that is one of the symbols of the resort with the very long, endless beach.
The Kenya Kite Cup 2023 could not have been held at a better time: still many tourists in Kenya and a "competition" wind in Diani.
With this in mind, our Italian champion, resident in Watamu, Jacopo Cantini won the competition for the fourth time, winning the "freestyle" competition, the one of jumps and reckless evolutions, and coming second in the race, the speed competition along a path through the waves of the Indian Ocean.
