A beautiful celebration of Kenya in Milan, next 30 September, to celebrate with Freddie del Curatolo all the aspects that make this country magical. After a good four years and the notorious events that blocked the 'tours', presentations and shows he used to do from time to time in his homeland, the journalist, writer, performer and director of Malindikenya. net is back in Italy to present his (in collaboration with yours truly, for the photographic part) new book on Nairobi, soon to be published by the Turin-based publishing house 'OG Zero', and to talk a little about 'our Kenya' together with the editorial director of the Africa magazine, Marco Trovato, and the journalist Angelo Ferrari, editor of the African section of the Le città visibili series. But above all, we are coming back (and we are coming back) to see friends, loved ones and hopefully many readers, followers of "Italians in Kenya" and "sick of Africa" who would like to participate on Friday 30 September in the Kenya Festival organised by Africa Magazine where, in addition to Freddie's book, many other things will be discussed, there will be music (there might even be a couple of songs with Sbringo...), an online Swahili language course will be launched and the evening will end with a Swahili dinner. Better than that...
The book 'Nairobi' will also be presented on Tuesday 4 October in Turin and we will soon give you further details.
In the next weeks we will tell you more about the new book-project on Nairobi, which will be an interactive ebook as well as a constantly evolving and updated online space.
