For more than two days now, as they had already warned on the portal, the official (and only) Kenyan immigration website to do the stay visa online, evisa.go.ke, has not been working. Kenya's Foreign Ministry posted on its twitter profile and sent a communiqué to foreign embassies in Kenya, the reasons why. The statement explained that the site was reportedly the victim of an attack by Sudanese hackers that made it impossible for Kenyan authorities to work, so for the past three days no visas have been issued for all international tourists who are about to arrive in the country.
Therefore, as of now and until the situation is resolved and a new communiqué is issued, one can arrive in Kenya even without an online visa and the stamp for the stay will be issued by the immigration authorities upon arrival at Mombasa and Nairobi airports.
