"We are already working to meet the needs of the local community that manages the Hell's Kitchen and we count as soon as possible to arrive at a solution to reopen this important tourist site to the public.
These are the words of Nahida Athman Mohamed, Minister of Tourism of Kilifi County, entrusted to social networks after three days of closure of the depression of Marafa, just before the high season.
No security problems and terrorist threats, as some local sites had leaked, but simple requests from those who manage the "kitchens of the devil" to make them more accessible, safe for tourists and fence them to prevent the entry of malicious people of all kinds. Hence the misunderstanding with some bloggers and journalists who had spoken of "unsafe place".
In fact, in many years at Hell's Kitchen in Marafa nothing has ever happened, not even a theft or a threat to the thousands of tourists who visited it.
In recent days some minibuses loaded with foreign tourists had been forced to backtrack and hence the request for explanations to the local population.
Now it is certain, nothing more than a kind of strike and the hope, supported by the declarations of the institutions, that a solution will be found before the Christmas holidays.
