In Malindi, the classic Italian Christmas Eve dinner can only be at Olimpia Beach Club, an eatery that for years has been one of the landmarks of the gastronomic tradition of our home and the pleasure of getting together among compatriots. Our homegrown specialties arrive weekly from Italy, fresh produce by plane, and in fact Olimpia is the only place that can offer specialties that are hard to find in Kenya such as Italian mussels, clams veracious and so on, in addition to all the other imported delicacies and local products such as fish from the Indian Ocean and mangrove oysters, which are fantastic especially when paired with Valdobbiadene prosecco.
For Saturday, December 24, Olimpia Beach offers a dinner with an a la carte menu but many special dishes, among which stand out the cavatelli with cannellini and mussels, an exclusive house recipe. At the close of the dinner, panettone and nougat will be offered to all present. During dinner, DJ Dulla will entertain with soft music, and then guests can celebrate Christmas with group dances, seventies and eighties till late.
