There is always good food and some news on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Tangeri Lounge in Malindi.
In the restaurant and disco pub on the town's waterfront the half week evening offers music and special gastronomic specialties, in particular the piglet cooked in a wood-burning oven and prepared with the secrets of the trade by the Italian-Argentinean Chef Diego.
As a side dish, in addition to cocktails to open the evening (try the excellent mojito or a caipirinha to perfection) and the now famous meat menu, music to listen to and dance to, with quality combined with lightness and fun. 
On Wednesday, from the beginning of the year, after dinner we move to the White Elephant, for the weekly disco party with DJ Macs and Mario Di Tommaso on the bridge. 
On Thursday evening, however, the Ethiopian evening is always fashionable, with habesha cuisine. Tasting menu in Kes. 1300, excluding drinks, and adequate music.
