Every tourist season in Malindi is made to have fun, to absorb the magic of this place, to live a period with the lightness that this time imposes on us, otherwise life would be a nice burden that we are not yet given to know exactly why we have to bear.
It is therefore natural that, like precious preserves or dried porcini mushrooms, just before Christmas, Freddie and Sbringo come out. They have the task of cheering up the evenings of Baby Marrow with their cabaret malindino made of musical cues, parodies, original songs, poems, clutches and jokes.
As in the tradition of the artistic restaurant of Vasco Da Gama road, the evening is on Thursdays and we will go on to the bitter end every week, until the public who usually fill the place during these appointments (indeed, it is strongly recommended to book) will not begin to throw shellfish and slices of focaccia at the address of the two. In the meantime, it is worth attending at least one evening, even if each show has something different. For those who have not yet listened to "The construction of a house" or the "Poem of the holes of Malindi" and for those who want to know why "I wanderer" of the Nomads in Kenya is transformed into "I dying" and "Laura is not there" of Nek in "The water is not there", the opportunity is to be seized, for all others, it is worth remembering that still at Baby Marrow you eat well.
