What could be more dreamy and delicious for a child than pizza? In this Nairobi does not differ much from Rome, Naples or Milan.
Our embassy's previous appearances at Matteo's Restaurant & Lounge in Karen have shown that the little ones enjoy being able to try their hand at preparing the world's most famous dish and spend a different, creative and bonding day with other peers. 
So, for the month of April, on the occasion of school closures, the Nairobi-based international Italian restaurant is offering a series of appointments for aspiring baby pizza makers, starting tomorrow, Tuesday 2.
These are bi-weekly appointments, the second of which will be on Thursday 4, followed by Wednesday 8, Monday 10 and 15, and Wednesday 17.
During the morning, the children will learn, in a playful and informal atmosphere, how to prepare pizza at all stages, starting from the dough, to the tomato-mozzarella topping, through to baking and, of course, tasting.
To entertain and amuse the children even more, a bouncy castle will be available for them in the large garden and films will be shown on the big screen.
Appointments at Matteo's, on Ngong Road before Karen's roundabout, will open in the morning at 9.30 until 2.00 in the afternoon, the cost of participation is Kes. 1500 per child
