WORDS OF AFRICA
08-02-2021 by Freddie del Curatolo
Do you remember how many times you have dreamt of Kenya?
Its infinite spaces, its changing landscapes, the living and wild Nature.
The animals running free and untamed in their uncontaminated kingdom.
Breathing the same air as them, smelling the same smells, not like a documentary on television.
Do you remember how many times you have been close to leaving?
How many times have you surfed travel and airfare sites, hoping they would click on you...?
A stroke of luck, a lottery, a honeymoon, a company prize, an unexpected surprise... you would have wanted everything to be matched with the name of a location, a lodge, a village, a route, a safari agency.
And when you have been there, if you have already been there, do you remember how good you felt?
The peaceful days, the emotions, the surprises.
You fulfilled a dream that was much more than a holiday.
Memories are life and are not part of the body, but of the soul.
Don't let a damn virus erase them.
Karibu.
Karibu Tena Kenya.
Don't forget us, we are waiting for you.
And we will remember you.

Can a single pair willing to create educational foundations for entire communities of remote villages of Africa?
