President Uhuru Kenyatta at G7 in Italy

Kenya Prime Minister arrived today in Taormina, Sicily

Kenyatta's presence, as Ambassador of Africa, will be limited to bilateral talks with every single participant in the important meeting that sees Taormina Prime Minister Canadian Justin Trudeau, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Theresa May, leader Japanese Shinzo Abe, New French President Emmanuel Macron, US President Donald Trump and of course the House of Commons, President of the Italian Council Paolo Gentiloni.
Kenyatta, as the Kenyan government's website says, landed in the afternoon in the NATO military base of Sigonella and went to Taormina in helicopter immediately. Tonight, the President of Kenya will address an interview with Gentiloni about the relations between Kenya and Italy that are becoming increasingly tight and important. With the Italian Prime Minister, President Kenyatta will discuss the extension of Kenya's exports, which currently include particularly coffee, tea, skins, fish, fruit and vegetables and cut flowers. Kenya is also examining Italy's support for state projects as an added value.
Italy wants to stabilize in the Kenyan market with machinery, fertilizers and medical instruments.
In Sicily there is also the Kenyan Foreign Minister, Amina Mohamed. It is important to share his colleagues in the seven most industrialized countries in the world with regard to security, counterterrorism and economic strategies in Kenya and the whole African continent.
