Qatar Airways is betting more and more on Kenya and in December will increase to five weekly flights to Mombasa. To date, there are four flights, three of which also stop in Nairobi.
The additional flight will certainly work for the high season, from December 20 to March 27 and will be directed from Doha to Mombasa International Airport and back.
The national airline of the Arab country is likely to use an Airbus A320 for the new flight.  The aircraft has 12 business class seats and 120 in economy. 
It will be scheduled for Friday, departing from Doha at 2.30 am to arrive in Mombasa at 8.40 am and leaving Mombasa at 4.50 pm to arrive in Doha at 11.05 pm. 
"The increase in frequencies will allow passengers to enjoy the wonders that this coastal city has to offer - said the CEO of Qatar Akbar Ali Baker - and even Kenyans will have more opportunities to use Qatar Airways, a vast global network of more than 160 destinations. In addition, this addition allows further growth and strengthens ties between the nations of Qatar and Kenya.
Also for those arriving from Italy, especially from Milan, the possibility of connecting from Doha to Mombasa is increasing. 
It should be noted that Qatar is also participating in the charter company Air Italy, which has already scheduled for the entire season two direct flights a week from our country to Mombasa, operating in fact as a scheduled flight.
