Again, a lorry driver from other countries

Kenya's Ministry of Health has confirmed the second case of monkeypox (Mpox) in the country. As in the previous case, it involved a truck driver from Uganda, who was stopped at the Malaba border post. The lorry driver said he had recently travelled to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where the largest outbreak of the virus is taking place.
‘The patient presented with a rash with mucosal lesions, as well as fever and headache, with enlarged lymph nodes,’ the Ministry of Health said.
The ministry also stated that the patient was immediately isolated and is being treated at a health facility in Busia county, bordering Uganda. The Deputy Minister of Health, Deborah Barasa, confirmed that this is the second case of Mpox out of 42 people with symptoms that have been tested since the emergency broke out in Congo and neighbouring countries. At the country's ports of entry, especially by land, 426,000 people have already been visited.
