WORLD WEEK OF ITALIAN COUSINE

Countdown to the international week of Italian cuisine in the world, the World Week of Italian Cousine, an initiative of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and addressed to Malindi thanks to the Ambassador of Italy in Kenya Alberto Pieri and the availability of restaurateurs and partners involved. The important event that proposes the best that the tourist destination can offer in terms of gastronomy, trade, services and entertainment opens on Wednesday, November 27 and every day, at lunchtime dinner and at aperitif time, a restaurant in Malindi will have something more to offer than usual and will be something Italian. From the opening day at the Leopard Point Beach Resort, whose Jiko restaurant combines light and healthy cuisine with an elegant atmosphere of relaxation between the Marine Park and the Mayungu marine oasis, to Wednesday evening in the temple of meat and evening meeting Tangier Lounge, while Thursday afternoon will open the happy our of the Bar, with special prices for Italian wines, spritz and Italian appetizers. On the evening of the 28th, Baby Marrow offers two tasting menus and the new Freddie e Sbringo show "Spaghetti pollo e insalatina", songs to eat and drink.
On Friday lunch, the home cooking of Malaika Beach is the side dish of one of the Italian days of beach and sea of the event, while in the evening are the flavors of Puglia to be the masters in the beautiful scenery by the pool of La Malindina. Saturday is a day of the event at Billionaire, with a very special barbecue and many other surprises.
On Saturday evening Ambassador Pieri will be present at Kilili Baharini during an evening by invitation in collaboration with the Pellegrino Artusi Foundation, the first great Italian chef whose first translation of Swahili recipes has been edited by the Italian Institute of Culture in Nairobi.
Sunday grand finale with the Italian buffet at the Osteria Beach and in the evening with local songs by Claudio Villa's heir, Salvatore Strano, at the Olimpia Club, between calamarata and other Italian specialties.
