In Malindi, as in the rest of Kenya and the world, people want to return to normality, to have fun and a social life, without breaking the rules of the pandemic and related protocols.
One of the positive signs of this desire is the success of the Mondays at Rosada Beach, which since the beginning of the year have involved a crescendo of people playing music barefoot on the sand of the beautiful Silversand beach and enjoying the first drinks of the day. Every week, more and more customers came to the renovated Malindsian nightspot from 5 p.m. onwards, with happy hour until 6 p.m. and 20% off drinks. Under the new management, the club has attracted tourists and residents not only for the days with music, but also for the restaurant open for lunch and dinner on event evenings, and throughout the day on the sunbeds by the sea and with the bar and chiringuito.
Encouraged by so much enthusiasm and feedback, from this week Rosada Beach also offers its second day (in other times we would have said "evening" and "night") of dance music with deejay and fun, that of Friday. The same winning cliché as the historic Monday appointment: from 5 pm you enter and dance, for one hour discounted drinks and then non-stop dancing and drinking until 9 pm.
