German-Italian jazz at the Goethe Institut in Nairobi

For March 8, guest appearance by Kenyan guitarist Eddie Grey

The Italian Cultural Institute in Nairobi is pleased to invite its compatriots to a jazz concert by the duo consisting of pianist Giacomo Aula and guitarist Eddie Grey, to be held on Wednesday, March 8, at 6 p.m. at the Goethe-Institut auditorium (Maendeleo House, Monrovia Street) to coincide with Women's Day.
Giacomo Aula is an Italian pianist living in Germany. After studying classical piano at the Liceo Musicale in Salerno and the conservatories of Matera and Potenza, he perfected his skills in Siena with Franco D'Andrea, Stefano Battaglia Stefano Zenni and Marcello Piras. Attracted by technologies and scientificity for the study of acoustics, he graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin. His artistic resume includes numerous tours in the United States, Germany, Italy, Spain and many other countries.
Eddie Grey is a guitarist originally from Kenya. Born into a family of musicians, he is particularly interested in jazz. He has released three albums and is inotre arranger and composer.
