What better way to promote an excellent Italian wine cellar, in this case from the magical land of Salento, than to propose a 'wine tasting' accompanied by Italian specialities such as cheeses, cured meats, olives and focaccia?
These are the appointments that Gourmet Master, importer and promoter of quality Italian food and wine products, proposes in Nairobi.
This month's guided wine tasting is on Friday 26 January at the Market Cellar in Westlands, Rhapta Road, starting at 6.30 pm.
Featuring excellent wines from the San Marzano cellar, whites, rosés, reds and bubbles, and the presence of a professional sommelier who will explain their nature, terroir, winemaking and how to enjoy them to the fullest, Gourmet Master offers a roundup of 'charcouterie'. All at a cost of only Kes. 3000. For connoisseurs, but also for those who want to approach the pleasant and satisfying world of drinking and eating well in the Italian way, in a venue specially designed for these events, surrounded by prestigious labels and experts in the field.
