Taste Italy in Watamu still open with many novelties

New arrivals, including wine, food and products for dogs and cats

10-04-2024 by redazione

Lots of novelties in the Watamu shop of Italian importer Taste Italy. The point of reference for residents, businesses and tourists in the Kenyan coastal resort, will remain open even in the low season, until the end of May, to guarantee the offer of Italian specialities and various supplies to please its customers.
The umpteenth container-load of products, in an excellent season that has seen Taste Italy deplete its stock several times, offers the best of its selection starting with wines, with a wide range of whites including sauvignon, pinot grigio, gavi, classic Piedmontese reds such as barbera and dolcetto, but also the Romagna trebbiano and sangiovese and bubbles, with prosecco from Valdobbiadene, brut sparkling wines and rosés.
There is no shortage of pasta, biscuits, coffee and, as always, Saclà pickles and vegetables (including the delicious friarielli). In addition, every week the fresh food showcase is renewed with sliced meats and cheeses.
Another nice confirmation comes from Rudy Saponi's Maiolica collection, which, besides being a nice gift idea, offers top-quality 'Made in Italy' products with unique fragrances and packaging at really interesting prices. Last but not least, for those with four-legged friends, the food from the Monge line for dogs and cats, with a special choice for puppies. Taste Italy is open every day, Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
