As we announced a few days ago, following pressure from tour operators and Italian travel agencies that have interests in international long-haul destinations, including entrepreneurs in the Kenyan tourism sector, the Ministry of Health has issued a new directive that allows, on an experimental basis, the reopening of some exotic destinations dear to our compatriots, creating "covid free corridors" that have limitations and precise rules.
As was already known, Kenya, or at least its seaside destinations Watamu and Malindi, are not covered by this concession, which, moreover, concerns organised tourism, that is to say 'package travel'.
