The Dubai-based airline, Emirates Airlines has decided from this morning, Sunday, December 26, to suspend all flights from Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania until a later date. In a statement issued by the airline, in fact the only airline operating in the Arab emirate, it is announced that, after the 48-hour preventive suspensions in 12 African states that took effect on December 21 and were then extended for another 48 hours, as of December 26 the entrances from the airports of Addis Ababa, Nairobi and Dar Es Salaam will be prohibited, while access from Dubai to the three African countries will continue without problems, with flights from the Arab destination to the capitals of Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia. The reasons have never been clarified, but belong to the sphere of security regarding the Covid-19 situation and the unreliable vaccination certificates that are issued in these countries.
