The proposed decree-law of the Kenyan Minister of Health Mutahi Kagwe seems to have alarmed a large part of the population, especially those who have planned vacations for next Christmas and those who usually travel by means of transport such as planes and trains.
Most likely will not be the next December 21 the deadline to avoid, without the vaccine passport, to be banned from many services, especially government and public ones, but it is inevitable that sooner or later even in Kenya will be introduced the Green Pass everywhere.
In recent days we are traveling at an average of 60 thousand new vaccines per day, while the number of second doses administered goes on very slowly. There are 6,915,627 total vaccines injected, confirmed the Ministry of Health, there are about 2.6 million Kenyans fully vaccinated and 4.3 million who are only partially vaccinated.
Paradoxically, the situation of new infections is so good that it does not help to complete the vaccination cycles. On Saturday, November 27, only 36 people tested positive out of a total of 3500 swabs, or about one percent. Also on Saturday, as in previous days, no deaths. Across the country there are 15 patients in intensive care and all with previous diseases and not vaccinated.
