Summer is (already) coming to an end, at least in inland Kenya, from Nairobi to the Rift Valley to Lake Victoria.
This was announced a few days ago by the National Meteorological Service, and for once it does not seem to have been far wrong, since yesterday a violent downpour also hit the capital, reminiscent of the thunderstorms of late August in Italy.

For the next few days, other regions, further south and towards the coast, could also experience a resurgence of the El Nino cyclone, which, after bringing rain and instability to East Africa until the end of last year, caused temperatures to rise to the highs of January and February and now returns to threaten rain that, according to the weather forecast, will be torrential at least in some parts of the country.

On the coast, the situation, in the face of the very hot temperatures (but for those on holiday it can also be pleasant, provided they don't linger too long on outings during the lunch hour) the rains are still expected to wait. But with El Nino you never know...
