According to national meteorologists, the weather on the Kenyan coast is finally stabilising.
As of this week, the days should be mostly clear with warm sunshine that will raise the temperature a few degrees without increasing humidity. Cloudy spells and some rain in the early morning hours may persist, but the holidays of many Kenyans and international tourists from Diani to Lamu will benefit from the sun-sea combination that is the added value of equatorial Africa's nature.
The Kenya Meteorological Department also explained the unstable weather situation in the western regions of the country, especially between Kisii and Kisumu up to the border with Uganda.
On Sunday afternoon, a thunderstorm that flooded some villages in Kisii County did not allow presidential candidate Raila Odinga to hold one of his election rallies.
'In the Rift Valley towards Lake Victoria there will be days of rain, with even violent downpours,' the experts note, 'while in the north of the country the weather will continue to be variable. According to the weather forecast, however, even away from the coastal belt, the situation should move towards a slow but steady improvement after this week.
