Yet another postponement in the trial to three of the men who would have been part of the gang that planned and carried out the kidnapping of the Italian volunteer Silvia Romano on November 20, 2018 in the village of Chakama, inland Malindi, namely Moses Luwali Chembe, Abdalla Gababa Wario and Ibrahim Adan Omar.
The hearing, scheduled for this morning, Monday, January 20 at the Court of Malindi, was moved by Judge Julie Oseko to March 11 and 12 at Chakama Elementary School. Two days earlier, on March 9, the judge will convene the parties only if there is news about the fate of Ibrahim Adan Omar, one of the three accused, who disappeared without informing his relatives and his lawyer during his bail and is still at large. A trial that does not seem to have much more to say and above all, unfortunately, cannot help the investigators to shed light on the whole matter.
