The stranglehold of hunger on Kenya and especially in its extremes, from the desert north to the savannah south, is beginning to cause serious concern. Warnings about the consequences of the prolonged drought and economic crisis, coupled with the pre-electoral immobility of the institutions is bringing thousands of families to their knees with situations that have hardly occurred in years past: cattle deaths, kilometres and kilometres of land usually used for agriculture that look like desert, children fainting at school from hunger.

Especially in the face of these situations, which are occurring more and more often in the hinterland of Malindi, we cannot remain indifferent and immobile.

We have therefore teamed up with the Italian non-profit organisation Karibuni to ask our readers to help us guarantee one meal a day to the students of the Langobaya schools supported by the non-profit organisation, which for years, thanks to donations and the work of its farms, has been feeding and nurturing hundreds of students, giving them the strength to achieve the best school goals and to improve their lives and those of their families. Today the farms are struggling and the young students even more so.
Consider that 5 euro is enough to deliver 10 full meals to the boys and girls of Langobaya, which is one of the areas most affected by the drought and whose survival threshold is reaching an all-time low.
