NICE EVENT
20-10-2023 by Freddie del Curatolo
When Italians in Kenya unite and promote "Made in Italy" together, something good always comes out, and particularly in the field of food and wine, if importers of products celebrated around the world are brought together with the businesses that can enhance their trade, such as restaurateurs, success is assured.
Yet another example was offered last Wednesday, in the evening organized in Nairobi by the La Terrazza restaurant, one of the capital's most charming and elegant establishments, run by Murielle and Stefano, together with Vinyasa, a reality that in a short time has made a name for itself by introducing Italian brands and labels of level imported exclusively.
In a restaurant-lounge frequented by the Nairobi jet-set, the featured excellence was Berlucchi, an icon of Franciacorta bubbles. Tasting accompanied by tastings of delicacies as an aperitif followed by dinner with seafood and land specialties on an exhaustive menu that elevated La Terrazza to one of the temples of good Italian eating, without much compromise and for this reason now a reference point for a multi-ethnic clientele and only a fraction of fellow countrymen.
Also present at the evening that exalted the accompaniments to Berlucchi's fine cuvées was the Italian Ambassador to Kenya, Roberto Natali with his deputy, Lorenza Gambacorta, along with other exponents of Italian business in Kenya, to influencers, managers and local professionals and many friends.
Natali, since his inauguration in Nairobi, has reiterated his interest in uniting even more the Italian community and the activities that promote made in Italy, to give strength and as much as possible one voice to the great potential of our market in Kenya.
The rest was mostly pleasure, gusto and optimism to continue on a path that supports the growth of a country that constitutes an attraction for those from Italy who want to interact with a market that can give great satisfaction and at the same time with a country that, through work and earnings, offers an enviable quality of life and a look to the future.
