Still unstable weather conditions throughout Kenya, including the coast.
The Kenya Meteorological Service has warned that the bad weather has returned for a few days to affect the entire country. In some regions of the North the low pressure will lead to sudden thunderstorms that will alternate with flashes of sunshine, while in the Northwest areas the downpours will follow one another. On the coast, according to warnings issued by the Coast Guard, the rains will be accompanied by strong winds that will make life difficult for fishermen and may bring storms especially in the area of Kilifi.
Since yesterday, thunderstorms have followed each other in cloudiness along the coastal strip while north of Nairobi have brought relief in the regions of Kirinyaga and Ol Pejeta where the locust invasion that had already affected the counties of North East has arrived.
According to forecasts, temperatures will drop by 4 or 5 degrees, giving relief in places where the heat was already high and unusual for this season. Humidity, on the other hand, will only decrease with the change in the wind, which is expected by the end of the month.
