While the sun finally seems to be back on the Kenyan coast, to stay there and greet the arrival of the equatorial summer, to the north of the country, in the capital Nairobi and in the regions of the Rift Valley, the tail of the so-called small rains continues, which now do not seem to differ much from the big ones.
For two days in the capital the rains have been incessant and yesterday there was a storm that brought to its knees the transport in various areas of the metropolis. while in rural areas there are fears of further landslides such as the one that last week caused more than fifty deaths.
The level of the Tana river, near the Hola basin, is also a cause for concern and there are fears of repercussions on the delta. Many villages have also been evacuated in the area of Kitui. Under control the Galana in the Tsavo National Park.
